Kazakh PM met President of Poland, Lord Mayor of London and EU special representative

Astana. March 30. Kazakhstan Today - The Kazakhstan Prime Minister Karim Masimov met the President of Poland Leh Kachinsky, Lord Mayor of the city of London John Stuttard and the EU special representative for Central Asia Pierre Morel, Kazakh PM press service informed the agency.

According to the press service, K. Masimov during the meeting with L. Kachinsky discussed the questions of bilateral cooperation in the field of agriculture, transport communication, pharmaceutics and telecommunication.

The President of Poland expressed interest in activization of cooperation of Kazakhstan and Poland in the sphere of development of industries and IT technology.

The Prime Minister discussed with J. Stuttard the prospects of development of the Kazakh-British cooperation in banking and financial sectors. The Prime Minister noted that development of mutual relations with Great Britain is one of the important directions of foreign policy of Kazakhstan.

The Prime Minister expressed interest of Kazakhstan in further development of strategic energy dialogue with the EU countries, development and realization of the projects of creation of alternative variants of transportation of oil-and-gas raw material to Europe with attraction of the European investments into development of pipeline infrastructure of Kazakhstan, PM press service informed.
