Construction of cities satellites in Almaty oblast to begin in 2007

Almaty. February 28. Kazakhstan Today - Construction of cities-satellites will begin in 2007 in Almaty oblast in Kapshagay direction. The Chairman of the Committee on construction, housing and communal services affairs of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Kazakhstan Kaysar Omarov informed at the press conference.

According to the Chairman of the committee, the state will finance construction of objects of infrastructure, engineering networks and communication. "Under infrastructure I mean schools, hospitals, and kindergartens," K. Omarov explained.

Cities-satellites will have manufactures and industrial zones." The part of manufactures will be transferred from Almaty and small enterprises will be created. Creation of manufactures will be done through private-state partnership, that is the share of the state that will include land and engineering networks, and the private trader will come with investments," K. Omarov informed.

According to the Chairman of the committee on construction, development of manufacture will be realized through specially created within the next few days socially-enterprise corporations.
