February 8. Kazakhstan Today - Today at the plenary session the Senate deputies passed the law on ratification of the agreement on Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Secretariat (CICMA), the agency reports.
As it was informed earlier, the agreement defines that the secretary is a constantly operating body providing administrative, organizational and technical support of the CICMA activity, establishes and conducts archive of documents, receives and distributes the information about CICMA.
The CICMA member states gave the secretariat the right to conclude the agreement with the Kazakhstan government regarding conditions of stay of the secretariat on the territory of Kazakhstan.
The agreement was signed on June 17, 2006 in Almaty.
The law has been directed to the President.
