Astana. January 22. Kazakhstan Today - The Kazakhstan Prime Minister Karim Masimov at today's session charged the Ministry of Industry and Commerce to create the conditions to attract the transnational and large foreign companies to the non-raw sectors of the economy and stimulate the development of 5-7 large economic centers in the country, the agency reports.

"We need to involve 5-7-10 large brands and create conditions so that they - the European, American, Chinese, Russian companies enter our market with new technologies and markets," the Prime Minister considers.

The Prime Minister charged the Industry Ministry and fund Kazyna within the limits of the program of territorial development to develop proposals on stimulation "of separate cities, the population of which exceeds one million people." "The examples are Astana and Almaty, maybe, 5-7 more sites where we could create priority conditions and create infrastructure, reduce housing price to create more populated centers," Prime Minister said.
