Bill on gambling directed to Senate

Astana. December 26. Kazakhstan Today - Today at the plenary session of the Senate the deputies considered and directed to Majilis the bill On gambling, the agency reports.

"The senators suggest to expand the zones allocated for gambling. The senate suggests defining Shuchin-Bohrovoy and the right coast of Kapshagay water basin as the zones for gambling.

As it was informed earlier, the bill On gambling establishes concrete measures, concerning gambling arrangement, requirement as a whole realization of the activity, qualifying requirements for license, order of visiting of gambling establishments and a number of others.

According to the bill in Kazakhstan bookmakers' activity offices and totalizators will be allowed.

After the consideration of the bill in the second reading, the Senate made the decision to direct the bill to the Majilis.

The date of introduction of the laws is offered to be established since April 1, 2007.
