Kazakhstan, China signed interdepartmental documents

Astana. November 17. Kazakhstan Today - Today in Pekin following the results of the third session, Kazakh-Chinese committee on cooperation signed a number of interdepartmental documents, the agency reports referring to the government of Kazakhstan.

Agriculture Ministry and the State general board on supervision of quality, inspection and quarantine of the Peoples Republic of China signed the agreement on fytosanitory requirements for export of wheat from Kazakhstan to China. The parties concluded memorandum On mutual understanding concerning cooperation in the field of control and safety of mutually imported goods.

As it was informed, the committee on cooperation between Republic Kazakhstan and the Chinese National Republic was created according to the intergovernmental agreement on May 17, 2004 signed during Nursultan Nazarbayev's official visit to China. The committee is headed by Vice Premier Karim Masimov from Kazakhstan party, from Chinese party - Vice Prime Minister of the State Council of the Peoples Republic of China.

The main purpose of creation of the committee is coordination of bilateral cooperation in various spheres, including planning of large projects of strategic value and development of long-term programs.
