Almaty. October 16. Kazakhstan Today - Inflation will fluctuate within 8-9 % in Kazakhstan next year. The senior adviser of the department of Near East and Central Asia of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) David Owen gave the forecast today during videoconference devoted to the review of the current economic situation and prospects of development of Central Asian countries, the agency reports.

"Rates of economic growth in Kazakhstan were high and the same high rates will be in the future at the level of 8-9 %. The inflation was high enough too and reached 8-9 %. We think that inflation next year will remain the same," D. Owen said in his report.

"As for the external account and budgetary accounts, the government of Kazakhstan has opportunities owing to good position of the budget to increase budget expenditures next year," IMF representative noted.
