Kazakhstan Today - In September the nominal exchange rate of KZT to US dollar devaluated by 1.52 % (about 125.32 KZT for $1 of the end of August up to 127.22 KZT for $1), from the beginning of the year strengthening of KZT made 4.9 %. The National Bank of Kazakhstan informed the agency.
According to the National Bank, volume of operations on the stock exchange at Kazakhstan stock exchange (KASE) in the view of transactions at the additional tenders has increased in comparison with August by 8.5 % - up to $3505.3 million (from the beginning of the year volume of operations on the stock exchange - $20.9 billion).
On the kerb currency market the volume of operations decreased by 45.6 % and made $3333.9 million (from the beginning of the year - $41.5 billion).
