Shanghai to host SCO Supreme Courts Chairmen

Kazakhstan Today - The meeting of the Chairmen of the Supreme Courts of SCO countries will take place in Shanghai today for the first time, the agency reports referring to the Supreme Court of Tajikistan.
The main topic of a two-day meeting will become the creation of the mechanism of cooperation on struggle against transboundary criminality and strengthening of interaction of judicial authorities on counteraction to terrorism, extremism and separatism within the organization.
The Chairmen of the Supreme Courts are expected to discuss the role of judicial bodies in social development, guaranteeing law, order and justice. Following the results of the meeting, joint statement is planned to be adopted.
