September 14. Kazakhstan Today - Former World Bank President James Wolfensohn has been offered to become the Development Adviser of Almaty regional financial center. The Agency Chairman Arken Arystanov informed today at the press conference upon completion of 1st session of the International Council of Agency on regulation of Almaty financial center, the agency reports.
"Yesterday the meeting of former World Bank James Wolfensohn with the President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev during which we discussed the plans for development of our regional center took place," A. Arystanov said. According to him, during the meeting Wolfensohn was officially offered to become the Adviser on development of the financial center.
