Kazakhstan Today - Kazakhstan, in case of election, will preside in OSCE in 2009 at an adequate level, the President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev stated today at the press conference in Astana. "I think, we can apply for presidency in OSCE in 2009, and we would chair it at an adequate level," Kazakhstan Leader considers.
"Kazakhstan stability, quiet life of 130 nationalities is an example of tolerance and our experience for OSCE would be very important," N. Nazarbayev considers. "Our successes will be interesting to OSCE," the President believes. The Head of the State emphasized that Kazakhstan will be put forward as a collective nominee to the post of OSCE chairman by all 12 CIS states.
