August 18. Kazakhstan Today - Prime Minister of Japan Junichiro Koizumi will pay official visit to Uzbekistan on August 28, Embassy of Japan in Uzbekistan press service informed the agency.
The visit schedule of the Prime Minister of Japan includes the meeting of the President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov.
It is J. Koizumi's first visit to Central Asia. He will also visit Kazakhstan on August 28-30 where he will meet the President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev. The parties are expected to discuss the questions of strengthening of mutual relations and exchange opinions on international issues.
