Kazakh PM, Rosatom Chairman discussed creation joint venture in nuclear industry

Kazakhstan Today - During the meeting in Aktau Rosatom Chairman Sergey Kirienko and Kazakh PM Daniyal Akhmetov discussed the questions of cooperation between the Russian Federation and Kazakhstan in the sphere of development of nuclear industry and energy. Rosatom press service informed the agency.
During the meeting D. Akhmetov stated that Russia and Kazakhstan "should have uniform energy policy in all spheres, in particular, nuclear industry and atomic engineering."
"The experts prepared the questions, concerning extractions of uranium, the organization of joint venture on uranium enrichment and the most perspective question - designing of blocks of new generation and as a consequence, the access to the markets of other countries," D. Akhmetov considers.
Kazakhstan repeatedly declared the intentions to develop its own program of peaceful atom use jointly with Russia.
