July 21. Kazakhstan Today - Three-volume national Ecological Atlas of Kazakhstan will be published in 2007. The Council for Steady Development Secretary, Director of Environmental Department Bolat Bekniyazov informed on Thursday during the presentation of the concept of transition of the Republic towards steady development, the agency reports.
"The atlas has been developed by the Institute of Geography of the Ministry of Education and Science and allows defining target criteria of rational use of natural resources and set specific objectives for each forthcoming year for each region," B. Bekniyazov said.
The work on the third volume of the atlas comes to the end.
