Education Ministry to hold audit on country’s scientific development

May 22. Kazakhstan Today - The Ministry of Education and Science of Kazakhstan plans to hold audit of scientific and technical development of the country by the end of 2006. The Minister of Education and Science Byrganym Aytimova informed today at the government session devoted to development of science in Kazakhstan, the agency reports.
"Audit will assess real opportunities of the country. 10-12 scientific and technical programs to be developed and approved to be realized through scientific and innovative projects, B. Aytimova noted.
"Audit can lead to conclusion that Kazakhstan has chances for only two-three break-through directions," the Minister of Education and Science assumed. "Audit can also show backward Kazakhstan segments," B. Aytimova added. The audit will be hold periodically once in three years. |
