Congress of journalists discussed mass media development in Kazakhstan

April 24. Kazakhstan Today - At the session of Congress of journalists of Kazakhstan discussed the tendencies of development of mass media in the Republic on Saturday here in Almaty.
During the session members discussed the Kazakhstan bills “On mass media" and "On amendments to several Kazakhstan articles on mass media which for the first time have been presented to the public on IVth Congress of journalists of Kazakhstan on April 18, 2005.
The members came to the conclusion that from the moment of initial discussion of the bills some of their norms have undergone changes called to provide guarantees of freedom for Kazakhstan mass media.
By the session results the resolution that in the near future the bills will be presented to the Parliament by way of the legislative initiative of Kazakhstan Parliament deputies was adopted. |
