State bodies to stir up interaction in struggle against terrorism and extremism

Astana. April 17. Kazakhstan Today - Questions on further activation of interaction of state bodies in struggle against terrorism and extremism have been discussed on Friday at a session of interdepartmental coordination commission of Kazakhstan National Security Committee (KNB) Antiterrorism Center.

Heads and representatives of nine republican Ministries and Departments attend the session.

The session included discussion of questions on strengthening security of weapons, ammunition and explosives, joint efforts to not allow the distributions of ideas of terrorism and religious extremism in prisons.

Besides, commission has summed up Antiterrorism Сenter’s activities for the first quarter of 2006, and reported on realization of previously accepted decisions.
