Prices for NYMEX oil exceeded $83 per barrel
Almaty. January 11. Kazakhstan Today - The prices for oil during the tenders at the commodity exchange in New York (New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) have exceeded $83 per barrel on the background of growth of import to China in December, including record purchases of oil and weakening of dollar, the agency reports citing an information-analytical portal Neft Rossii.
"The price of Light Sweet oil (WTI) at the tenders for the first time in 15 months has exceeded $83.5 per barrel. The transaction ceiling price has reached $83.67 per barrel - the highest quotation after October 10, 2008. The transaction ceiling price of Brent oil has reached $82.25 per barrel - maximum after October 9, 2008."
