Karaganda. January 11. Kazakhstan Today - Science&Production Association Zhezkazgantsvetmet has been imposed 2.1 billion KZT for infringement of the nature protection legislation. Zhezkazgan Public Prosecutor, Garifulla Ayrambaev, informed the agency.

During the check, there have been revealed an unapproved discharge of industrial waste in the territory of the concentrating factory to the river Penalty-Kengir. As a result, it has caused damage to the environment for the sum of more than 1.5 million KZT.
