Smuggling of Chinese goods to Kazakhstan to increase
Astana. November 18. Kazakhstan Today - Smuggling of Chinese goods will increase in the territory of Kazakhstan through Kyrgyzstan after the beginning of the work of the Customs Union. The Prime Minister of Kazakhstan, Karim Masimov, said at the government session on Tuesday, the agency reports.
"Taking into account creation of the Customs Union, potential illegal goods turnover from China to Kyrgyzstan and from Kyrgyzstan to Kazakhstan will be very big, therefore, customs duties for the third countries will go up several times," K. Masimov said.
The Prime Minister of Kazakhstan assigned the Committee of Customs Control of the Ministry of Finance to be alert."
