EurAsEC anti-crisis fund to begin its work in October, 2009
Almaty. September 25. Kazakhstan Today - EurAsEC Secretary General, Tair Mansurov, informed during the Investment Forum Customs Union - EurAsEC Integration Break that EurAsEC anti-crisis fund will begin its work in October, 2009, the agency reports.
"An example of realization of the regional mechanism is the decision on creation of EurAsEC $10 billion anti-crisis fund. The prime ministers signed the contract on establishment of the anti-crisis fund in June, 2009. Simultaneously, the ministers of finance along with the Eurasian Bank of Development signed the agreement on management of the fund's assets," T. Mansurov reminded.
"The fund will start its work after ratification of this document, which will come to an end in October," the Secretary General informed.
