Almaty. September 23. Kazakhstan Today - The legislation of Kazakhstan does not forbid wearing hidjab in educational institutions. The Minister of Justice of Kazakhstan, Rashid Tusupbekov, answered the question of the user of the Internet blog, the agency reports.
"According to the Constitution, article 22, everyone has the right of freedom of worship. This right includes freedom to act according to their religious beliefs," R. Tusupbekov informed.
"The norm of the Constitution of the Law on Freedom of Worship and Religious Associations, which guarantees the right of citizens of freedom of worship, has been concretized. According to the Constitution, the state educational system and education in the Republic are separated from religious associations and has the secular character, that is the state does not interfere into the religious associations affairs and religious associations cannot interfere into the state affairs."
